Seating Showdown: Eon Vs. Ambarella

Just this month Cherryman Industries has released an all new chair that we're ready to put to the test. Today on the blog we'll be taking an in-depth look at the trend setting Eon chair by comparing it to one of Cherryman's most popular seating solutions, the Ambarella. Which chair will reign supreme? Let's find out!

In terms of style, both of these popular office chairs are on trend and up to date. The Eon and Ambarella feature polished 5 star bases and natural contours that are built for both comfort and corporate appeal. As of now, the Eon is only available in a black on black color combination while the Ambarella can be customized in a variety of quick shipping seat upholsteries that make it a bit easier to personalize your interior.

Eon Chair by CherrymanIf you're looking to keep things simple without being overly modern, the Eon mesh back task chair is going to be your best bet. That being said, if an all black office chair just isn't your thing, The Ambarella is certainly a better option. If you're in no hurry to select a new chair for your office, we fully expect the Eon to be available in lot's of cool color options in the future.

iDesk Ambarella ChairIt's no secret that these two chairs share a lot of similarities. Both have adjustable T shaped arms that make finding the correct computing position a breeze. They also feature advanced ergonomic mechanisms with user friendly tilt controls.

The seat on the Eon chair for example is a bit more think and we find it's contours to be more supportive. On the 401B Ambarella chair you'll find a built in guide for personal adjusting located underneath the seat that outlines the chair's features and how to use them properly. It's a really nice attribute that we wish was available on the Eon.

The natural curve on the 415B Eon chair really gives it the edge in terms of lumbar support. While the Ambarella chair back is comfortable, we feel the Eon provides a more breathable and airy sitting experience that you'll enjoy more during those long task filled work days.

When comparing two awesome office chairs, there's really no substitute for a good sit test. After having our team check out both the Eon and the Ambarella, most us found the Eon to be the superior office chair for everyday use. It's generous dimensions, seat, and back work together to provide a ergonomically correct perfromance.

That being said, if you're crafting an ergonomic conference room, the Ambarella is a better option. It's a bit more sleek and will help you maximize the number of guests that can be accommodated around your table.

The price difference between these two chairs is negligible. The Eon is currently available for $245.00 while the Ambarella is $247.80. In the long run, it all comes down to your personal preferences. The Eon is certainly our preferred choice, but there's a reason the Ambarella was one of the top 10 best selling office chairs in 2016. It's incredibly well made and perfectly suited for the modern workplace. We recommend testing both out at a Cherryman showroom in your area if possible. No matter your choice, you'll be rewarded with a professional grade office chair with the modern adjustments needed to help you take posture and performance to the next level.
